Out of the “land of custom exhibits”
where for years designers and builders believed all exhibit construction
begins in the wood shop, comes a new concept in custom construction
– Vertical Extrusion Framing (VEF). VEF
is challenging the process by which custom exhibits are built
and in the meantime delivering better quality, more flexibility
and lower I&D costs.
This new technology uses an aluminum extrusion for the vertical
sides of all exhibit panels, creating a standardized connecting
system for the exhibit that in turn lowers the time needed for
installation and dismantle. Surfacing flexibility is also created
by the extrusion allowing surfaces to be changed out, which now
provides a new element in custom construction. U.S. Exhibits uses
VEF construction in their
Independence Exhibit System. For more information
